Steve Parrish

Posted on 23rd August, 2011

Ahoyhoy TT fans,

Having rabbitted on about it for days I finally met a bit of a hero of mine, the great Steve Parrish - British bike racing star and multiple European and World truck racing champion. You at least might known him as the amazing voice of experience commentator on the BBC's moto GP coverage. I met Steve and his partner Michelle at her pub the Queen Adelaide in Croydon, Cambridgeshire this evening - totally lovely folks. They sounded keen to help out. All very exciting. They say don't meet your heros (which has been easy for me as I have few) but Steve was everything I had hoped. Between the three of us we redesigned the total artificial heart to be partially mounted inside breast implants so cardiomyopathic smaller ladies can benefit from living longer plus have a bigger boobies! Now tell me that isn't genius!!!!

Separetely and also, barring having to work, I should be on BBC regional radio on 6pm this coming Monday. Tune in and see if I can waffle on without getting to the point more than I did yesterday on Tim Willet's show on Cambridge 105fm - link to come soon.
