Quick update (by Sam) to say that the nice Argentinian police in Mendoza emailed me today to let me know that my bag had been found complete with Sir Humphrey's keys, my diary and most importantly MY PASSPORT!!! Hurrah! The British Embassy said I'd have to wait 4 weeks for a new one so thank goodness some kind person found it and handed it in.
So its back to Mendoza I go tomorrow in the hope that I can still use it without being thrown in Jail for having a stolen passport....and the trip can continue.
