Perito Moreno to Chos Malal

Posted on 19th February, 2012

It was a late start for me as I had promised Sir Humphrey some TLC after the events of the previous day and a wonderful morning we had. Sir Humphrey was mostly quiet, Magpaws was encouraging and Little Tigger berated me constantly for him being dislodged from his perch during one of the crashes but lots was acheived at a leisurely pace. I manufactured one functional wing mirror out of the two buggered ones, fixed an electrical problem and decided to take the plunge and sew the AirHawk to the original seat. Alas my sewing kit had no needles so I sutured it on using forceps and 3-0 non-absorbable sutures. I must have looked mental but I enjoyed it; Sir Humphrey said it tickled. Onwards I pushed through amazing scenery as the Ruta 40 just got better and better.

I eventually made it to Chos Malal where I met a Brasilian on a V-Strom. Not Jean alas but a Professor of crop & weed science would you believe.

While writing this my back has just been stolen with EVERYTHING in it.
